Cellist Cameron Renshaw
​
Cellist Cameron Renshaw, at just 13 years old, is captivating
audiences with performances that exhibit a maturity
and depth well beyond his years. Cameron
has received top honors in numerous
international competitions, including the prestigious
"First Great Award" at both
the Vienna International Music Competition and
the Manhattan International Music Competition.
His accolades have afforded him the opportunity
to perform in some of the world's most renowned
concert halls, such as Carnegie Hall,
Mozarteum Salzburg, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam,
and the Romanian Athenaeum.

Cameron's exceptional talent has been recognized
on both local and national media platforms, including a notable appearance on
The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2020. He has performed as a soloist with eight orchestras across
the United States and internationally, making his orchestral debut at the age of 8 with the
Moscow Symphony Orchestra. As a From the Top (FTT) Fellow, Cameron's performance and interview were broadcasted on NPR in March 2024. He was also selected to perform
on NPR's From the Top "Tiny Desk Concert" in January 2025.

An adventurous musician, Cameron enjoys merging genres by performing electric guitar solos on his cello, having delivered riveting renditions of Metallica and Black Sabbath hits at Graceland live in Memphis, TN. His dedication t is further evidenced by his studies with esteemed teachers at universities and summer festivals. His mentors include Pablo Mahave-Veglia (long-time teacher), Leo Singer, Richard Aaron, Laurence Lesser, Clara Minhye Kim, Li-Wei Qin, Zvi Plesser, Paul Katz, Wei Yu, Andres Diaz, Lluís Claret, Hans Jørgen Jensen, Tian Bonian, Julia Lichten, and Amit Peled.
