Young Artist Performances affords nationally recognized young instrumentalists, preparing for careers in classical music performance, the opportunity to present advanced repertoire in a professional yet supportive environment.  Our young artists gain valuable on-stage experience and earn much needed funds for their educations.  Audiences are able to attend high quality concerts, rich with serious classical repertoire, in intimate settings and follow these young performers to greatness.

Violinist Ellie Dixon will perform classical works with pianist, Cullan Bryant. Ellie is a two time finalist in Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra - Youth Concerto Competition.

January 2024  - Iris Shepherd receives full fellowship to Vanderbilt Univeristy's Blair School of Music

 

November 2022 - Amy Goto awarded 2nd prize in the Pablo Casals International Aqarad Competition.

 

April 2022 - Lydia Newton accepts offer to to pursue graduate studies at the Eastman School of Music. Dillon Scott accepts offer to attend the Curtis Institute of Music.

October  2021 - Caroline Smoak wins the New England Conservatory Concerto Competition.  Shannon Fitzhenry name a contract player of the Pittsburgh Symphony.

 

March 2021 - YAP Artist Iris Shepherd receives a Jack Kent Cooke Award and wins the National Finals of the MTNA Senior Strings Competition.

 

February 2020 - YAP Artist Sterling Elliott solos with the Detroit Symphony, Boston Symphony and Philadelphia Orchestras.​ YAP Artist Joshua Kovac receives a Jack Kent Cooke award.

Bassist Toby Vigneau, will perform classical works with pianist Chee-Hang See  Toby attends the Curtis Institute of Music where he is a student of Hal Robinson and Edgar Meyer.

Violinist, Nicholas Lin, will perform classical works with pianist Chee-Hang See.  Nicholas is a student of Elizabeth Faidley and was a finalist in the 2022 Ronald Sachs International  Music Competition.
