Violinist Maggie Kasinger studies with Dr. Carolyn Huebl at The Blair School of Music where she has been a Myra Jackson Blair Scholar since 2010. As an active musician past and present, Maggie is a member of The Curb Youth Symphony, South Haven Baptist Church Orchestra., where she has served as the conductor assistant for The Repertory Orchestra. She was the assistant to director of strings at WKU Summer String Institute, and performs at many outreach programs through Blair and in her own community.


Maggie has been an avid chamber musician since the age of 8, and has attended such music festivals as Madeline Island Chamber Music and Brevard Music Festival, where she was also concertmaster of The Brevard Concert Orchestra. She has appeared in masterclasses of, Mauricio Fuks, Robert Moody, Simone Porter, Peter Winograd, Ara Gregorian, and Brenda Brenner. Maggie has been the 1st and 2nd runner-up at The Nashville Symphony Curb Concerto Competition, and the concerto competition winner of The Curb Youth Symphony Orchestra and The Nashville Summer Orchestra Institute. Maggie currently performs on a violin generously loaned and made by Mr. Keith Hill.
